The Know Your Worth: Women's Leadership Conference connects women around a shared vision of our role in a prosperous Kansas. Our purpose with Know Your Worth is to foster opportunities for women of diverse backgrounds and career paths to network and learn from one another. Our vision is to create a culture of empowerment among the women of our state.

Three concurrent tracks will focus on:

Personal Leadership - Understanding your uniqueness and the core essence of who you are is essential for leading a more fulfilled life. Workshops in this track will focus on embracing the leader within.

Leadership In the Workplace - Your talent, skills and leadership are needed to help your company - and career- thrive. The workshops in this track will focus on defining your leadership in your career, on project teams and in the workplace.

Leadership In the Community - Leading in our homes and neighborhoods is imperative for a vital and progressive community. Workshops in this track will focus on how to shape a compelling leadership narrative to help tackle challenges that can create improved communities.

Building on last year’s success we hope to sell out with 150 women and men at the conference.
Know Your Worth takes place on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Botanica: The Wichita Gardens at 701 Amidon St in Wichita. This year the planning committee is chaired by Denise Sherman (Southwestern College) and JKami Power. Christina Long (CML Collective) is Marketing Chair and we’ve been joined by a host of enthusiastic volunteers who attended last year’s conference and are eager to build on its success.
The Know Your Worth Conference Planning Committee is seeking dynamic speakers, for six breakout sessions, based on the conference tracks for its 2nd Annual conference. The breakout sessions will be approximately 1 hour long with breaks before and after the sessions. Compensation for speaking will be registration to the event, which includes lunch and a breakfast snack and reimbursement of travel expenses, if required.
The application will close TBA.

We are looking for:
- Energetic and compelling presentations
- Experienced speakers with references
- Video sample of you making a presentation, if available
- Presentations that support the mission, goals and audience of the conference
- Application is open to all genders
- Please specify the track that best fits the proposed presentation, and note preference order if the presentation fits more than one track
- Note any travel or other expenses require reimbursement
